Tuesday, December 13, 2011So I am trying to squeeze in a comic strip every 2 weeks just for practice. It's fast, simple, and will stimulate my mind. Not having a huge project equals me doing nothing, so I'd rather practice in my free time with this format.
Anyways, I just wanted to hook you guys in on what the history behind this conversation is. It might be revealed later down the line, but I will be working on multiple strips simultaneously. They might even criss-cross, who knows.

Just sketches, nothing special.
On a side note, I just finished 4 pages for a project called Blue Estate by Viktor Kalvachev. I was asked to be a guest artist on the book. Little did I know, Robert Valley, Nathan Fox, and Toby Cypress were working on the project on the side as well, which is pretty awesome. I felt like a bench warmer next to these guys. I any case, the pages are done and Issue 8 will be out soon. Vik sent me a preview of the issue and it looks great!
That's it for now, so have a good time eating turkey and getting fat.

Who the hell puts their couch in front of a walkway? I didn't notice this until I started inking the man and the background behind him. Don't hire me as your interior decorator.
